Sundyne appoints new regional gross sales supervisor for North and Latin America

Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional gross sales manager for North and Latin America, focusing on the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new position, Smith will strengthen customer facing initiatives and work with Sundyne’s internal teams to broaden across the C&I area.
Smith comes to Sundyne with greater than 30 years of expertise in promoting extremely engineered tools and repair solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish users in the renewable energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power technology markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vp of sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed strategies to strengthen & develop distributor sales, while also overseeing training and applications support. Profit served as a regional sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith started his profession at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also worked with midstream oil & fuel OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.

Smith will be based mostly out of Houston, Texas.
