Micro Precision Products (a WIKA Group company) can now showcase another great achievement. The largest orifice plate ever manufactured in India, to date, was produced in Palwal. The order was placed by among the largest EPC companies on the subcontinent. Depraved was finally commissioned in Bathinda in the state of Punjab (Northern India).
Precondition: Precision and know-how
The customer?s project schedule was tight. To meet up this, the production of such 34-millimetre thick orifice plates, manufactured from 316SS steel with a diameter of 2,690 millimetres, in addition to machining, testing, inspection and shipping were accelerated. The shipping of the orifice plates was carried out with great care. As a bore of 1 1,275 millimetres needed to be executed having an accuracy of � 0.4 millimetres, precision and great skill were required.
Battle manufactured with special approval
Regardless of the COVID-19-related lockdown, Micro Precision Products succeeded in the duty. This was done with the help of a particular permit from the authorities, among other activities. The delivery schedule was met promptly. As this is a prestige project for the customer, the company?s tests were of the best standard. These were all met completely.
